The 2011 Maadi Cup Regatta is underway here in Karapiro, NZ. Maadi Cup is the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rowing Championships where over 1900 pupils from 120 schools compete for the Maadi Cup. The Maadi Cup kicks off 28th March and goes till 2nd April 2011.

The event is the largest school rowing evernt in Southern Hemisphere.
